How Often Should You Book a General Clean?

The right schedule depends on household size, pets, lifestyle, bathrooms, kitchens and how quickly the property gets used.

Start with the property and the outcome

No two cleaning jobs are identical. Property size, current condition, access, surfaces, pets, frequency and the requested result all change the amount of work involved.

Build a realistic checklist

List the rooms and priority areas first. Separate essential tasks from optional extras, and mention anything that requires specialist equipment or unusual access.

Share useful details before requesting a quote

• Suburb and property type
• Number of bedrooms and bathrooms
• Current condition and last professional clean
• Preferred date and access arrangements
• Photos of priority areas where helpful

Ask what is included

A clear written scope helps both sides understand the work. Confirm products, equipment, parking, keys, pets, expected duration and any extras before the cleaning date.
